With the help of bird experts, 22 common kestrel nestlings have been caught in the air space of Airport Debrecen in the last few weeks. The birds have been taken to Hortobágy which is a much safer place for them.
The birds of prey hunting in the airspace of the airport mean great danger to the airplanes. The experts have placed rings on the legs of the chicks in order to be able to identify and observe them later. The animals are being prepared for free life by the bird experts in Hortobágy National Park.
