A man was beaten and robbed over the weekend in Sándor Petőfi street, Kecskemét. A group of young people found the bleeding man on Saturday at 2:39 a.m., they notified the ambulances and the police.
The victim said that he had been abused by an unknown person and then the man took his money and phone. According to the Bács-Kiskun County Police Headquarters, a 38-year-old Ukrainian man also went to the scene during the police operation.
The beaten man immediately recognized his attacker. The Ukrainian man denied his guilt, but police saw bloodstains in several places on his hands and clothes, so they captured and took him to the police station. The victim’s money and telephone were found near the scene. The man suspected of robbery was detained and his arrest was initiated.
