A corpse was found in the boiler room of a family house which caught fire in Gyula on Monday, the National Directorate General for Disaster Management informed MTI in a statement.
A signal arrived at the disaster relief a few minutes before 5 pm, and within a few minutes eleven firefighters marched to the scene with three vehicles.
The three-square-foot boiler house of the two-hundred-square-meter, single-story family home and the twelve-square-meter firewood and tool storage room next to the house was burning to full extent, with the flames spreading to a part of the roof of the building. Firefighters managed to put out the fire in forty minutes.
The conditions under which the fire broke out are being investigated.
