A 48-year-old man has been charged with 21 counts of fraud.
The police were called by an employee of a Hajdúszoboszló hotel on 17 February 2019 that one of the hotel’s guests left without paying.
After a thorough investigation, the police have managed to identify the man, against whom a warrant for arrest was issued.
In April 2019, the man returned to Hajdúszoboszló and stayed in another hotel, where an off-duty officer identified him and took him to the police station. It turned out that it was not the first time he had left without paying; the 48-year-old Szolnok man stayed in many hotels countrywide and he never paid.
A procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of 21 counts of fraud.
