A new multifunctional facility will be built in Kecskemét from more than HuF 5.3 billion in EU funding. The new building will also serve as a fire station, the National Directorate General for Disaster Management told MTI on Monday.
The project implemented in the Environmental and Energy Efficiency Operational Program provides HuF 5 billion 366 million 618 thousand non-refundable support for the implementation of the greenfield investment. Construction work of the complex has already begun near the intersection of Külső-Szegedi út and main road 5. When choosing the location of the nearly 5,300-square-foot building, it was important that the staff serving there could reach any area in the shortest possible time.
In the new fire station, ten moorings will be set up for emergency vehicles. Offices, a 24-hour news center, a warehouse and storage facilities will be set up, too. The premises of the county directorate and the branch office will be located in the office wing, where a meeting room, a client waiting room and a separate medical and psychological examiner will be built.
