The biggest transgression of the speed limit in open country was committed in Hajdú-Bihar county in August.
A speed limit of 50 kph on the M35 highway was ignored by a man, who ran his vehicle with 123 kph. Administrative penalty of 200 000 Forints was imposed by the police.
The Police Headquarters of Hajdú-Bihar County asks the motorists to keep the speed limits in order to avoid accidents.
