A new book has been published about the oeuvre of Károly Ereky, father of biotechnology in Hungary, who was writing about the problems and questions of today’s economy almost a hundred years ago.
Due to different researches and studies, by 2050 there will have been more than 9 billion people on Earth, which means that food industry has to raise the amount of its products by 70%. Visioner Károly Ereky also wrote about this probability already at the beginning of the 20th century, around 1917.
